Nancy... betcha this fish camp photo was taken on Airline Hwy in St. Charles Parish. If so, you were within a few miles of my former neighborhood (homes a bit more upscale than this one...) There used to be a big jigsaw hand on the pole out front that had HI printed on it but it fell off over the years. The bayou along the highway is called the 'borrow canal' as the dirt was 'borrowed' to make the long straight road which stretched from NOLA to Baton Rouge... such fun to watch your tracks.
